So I haven’t posted on here for a long time, but I’m really going to try and make this a weekly feature! My plan for this blog is to fill you in on my future ideas for Potsy, update you on what’s been happening over the previous week and generally waffle!
I’m going to summarise the 6 weeks holidays into one word – WOW! it took us by surprise just how busy it was so a massive heartfelt thank you to you all!!!! It really was a rip roaring success. Our princess parties sold out three times over and we’re in the process of scheduling more for October half term. We’ve added new stock, we’ve added a new line of teddy bear building, its beyond cute and foam clay is as popular as ever!! We have invested further in our till and collection system due to a couple of issues at the beginning of the holidays and we have had great feedback on the new system so far, annnnnnndddd we have an amazing new website courtesy of Birch Web Design – more on Greg later!
So what is September going to bring? Well the first week is generally ALOT of cleaning and scrubbing….. CHECK!….. creating half term workshops……. ON IT…….. Small selection of Christmas stock out ready for you to paint……… CHECK!….. Clay special offer……. OOOOH did I say special offer?! A hand and footprint in clay for only £30.00 this is a £10.00 saving so book in quickly!!! What else is happening in September?….. Read and Paints will continue which are brilliant sessions aimed towards babies and pre-schoolers that run every week. Teddy bear picnics are launching and we will also be having another baby bauble event. I’ll update you with the dates later this week.
I think that’s enough from me for one night, I need to go and make another brew as my mug has been empty for about 40 minutes now……*SHOCK*
