How much does it cost?
Everything in our studio is individually priced, with items starting from £15 – we say average spend is £20-25. Our prices are all inclusive, so there are no extra charges for glazing, firing or a studio fee.

We do offer decorating services in our studio, starting from £2.50 – speak to our members of staff in studio or give us a call on 01922411791 to discuss ideas!

How long does it take?

It depends on the item and the age of the painter. Younger painters tend to take less time, whilst older children and adults take longer. Our sessions are 90 minutes so it suits most painters. Anyone is able to prebook for multiple sessions for longer time if they feel they need longer.

Is my child too young?
Painting pottery is great for developing fine motor skills and the underglaze paint is non-toxic so it’s a great choice. We regularly have babies and toddlers in our studio.
When will my item be ready?
The staff at Potsy Pamsy work hard to get your items glazed, fired and ready for you as soon as we can. Please allow 10 days for your pottery to be ready, and for items that use our decorating service, it can take up to 14 days.
If you’re unable to come back to the studio, we can post your pottery out at the cost of Royal Mail postage specifications for its size and weight.
What activities can I do and take away on the day?

Well I’m glad you asked! We have our very popular foam clay that you can mould onto our pottery which children and adults LOVE to do! The only limitation really is that it’s not food safe so isn’t to be used on plates, mugs etc. We also offer teddy bear stuffing!

Do you cater for large groups?

Tuesday 9am – 5.30pm

Wednesday 9am – 5.30pm

What if I don’t finish my pot in time?
You can come back for another session, free of charge! The only stipulation for this is that we cannot hold onto your pottery whilst waiting for you to return, so you must take it home with you and bring it back to paint.

Are the paints safe and washable?
They are! Our underglaze paint is non toxic and washable – we sometimes are found to be walking around with paint in hair, on faces, on clothing – everywhere!
Aprons for smaller painters are available on request.
Are your items safe to use and can i put them in the dishwasher or microwave?
All of our pots are dipped in food safe glaze and we make sure your items are sealed before allowing collection so you can fully use your masterpiece!

We don’t recommend putting pottery into a dishwasher and you must not put your pottery into microwave as its earthenware it doesn’t always heat evenly, so parts of it can get extremely hot and even crack.
